Rituals[]
Illian Rituals of Winter[]
- Exclusive to the Illian civilization are the Rituals of Winter, that aim to a bring about a new Age of Ice under the dominion of the new god of winter, Auric.
- Samhain: Spawns Mokka and dozens of Frostlings across the map - under the control of the Barbarians.
- The White Hand: Spawns three Priests of Winter for the Illians.
- The Deepening: Cools the entire world down, causing random tiles to turn into Tundra and Ice tiles. Blizzards may now also spawn outside of Illian territory.
- The Draw: This ritual causes you to declare war on all other civilizations, you are also unable to conduct diplomacy with nations you are at war with in a similar manner to the Crusade civic. Furthermore, all Illian cities lose half of their population and all Illian units are damaged for a random amount. The only benefit of this ritual is that it allows you to start the Ascension ritual.
- Ascension: Auric Ulvin will ascend to godhood and lead the Illian army, but the strongest enemy civiliaztion will receive the Godslayer.
- Stir from Slumber: Spawns Drifa the White Dragon under the control of the Illians. Differing from the main sequence of rituals, its only prerequisite is the Illians having slain a civilization.
